I had my cat spayed exactly a month ago today and noticed this morning a fairly long thread hanging from her incision site, which was done with dissolvable stitches. She has been acting normal and there is no redness or discharge from the area, up until now I was convinced she was almost healed. Does this warrant a trip to the vets or will the stitch make it’s own way out? I read somewhere to trim it 😲 but I don’t want to interfere and hurt her!

I would call the vet, even send them the pic, and ask about it. If they say it is OK to cut it off, but you are uncomfortable doing so, most vets will let you 'walk in' and have a tech take care of it without an appt. The incision looks good, so now it is just a matter of taking care of that errant stitch!

Hi! Welcome!
Can you call the vet and double check whether they want to see her or if it's ok for you to trim that?
