Cat seizure

My cat is on phenobarbital and had a seizure today. Been a little over a year since seizure free. Do you think she need her dosage up. I'm going to do those test for her hopefully this week if they aren't book

I think you should monitor whether this happens again, write down the length of time and duration. I would call the vet to inform them when they open tomorrow and not increase her dosage without consulting your vet. If you notice any other symptoms before tomorrow contact the nearest emergency vet clinic. Good luck, please keep us posted.

So far she's OK. I'm going to do a phenobarbital blood test to see if she needs to up it. Maybe she gain weight a bit

Any updates? Did she have any more seizures and did you contact the vet about whether or not to increase her dosage?
