Cat Gender?

Can someone help me? Is this a male or female?

Too dark to say for sure (it's always hard to get good contrast on a black coat!), but I think male.

A female has a slit opening very close to the anus. A male has a round opening farther away from the anus, with space in between where his testicles will go.
