Cat feces smells like vomit (bile)

Hi everyone!

This sounds a bit strange but, I have noticed that my male (neutered) cats feces has a strong vomit (bile) like odor if not scooped out immediately. We use pine pellets that are scooped twice daily and I do a full litter change once a week, so it isn't due to a dirty litterbox, as far as I can tell.

Any ideas as to what could be the cause? Thanks so much everyone!

Can you email your vet and see what they think? This isn't normal but I can't say beyond that.
