Cat butt looks very red

My cat’s butt looks very red and she’s 10 years old.

Is this an emergency situation? Should we take her to the vet now? Thank you for your advice.

That looks pretty sore. Has she been constipated recently? Is she still using her litter box?

When I zoomed in it got a little blurry.. That being said it looks like it might be trying to prolapse. Like I said though it is blurry though

When is the last time you brought her in for a vet exam? If it was recently and this wasn't showing up then I'd call the vet's office to ask if you could send them the pic in order to determine if she needs to be seen.
