If you develop cat allergies and you have 3 cats, would you have symptoms every single day all day until you remove the cats or could you have days with no symptoms and still be allergic to cats?

For the past year or so, I have had allergies in the mornings and lately also in the afternoon.
Sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes.

Some days I have no symptoms whatsoever though. So I am not sure if this is cat related or something else in the environment.

If you have or know of anyone with cat allergies, please let me know what you think.

THanks a lot!

Allergies can "stack", meaning you may not react to cat dander until the pollen level reaches a certain threshold, (as an example). So, yeah, it's possible that you have an allergy to cats, but your body doesn't overreact until some other allergy kicks in too.

Have you tried any of the OTC allergy meds? Zyrtec, Claritin, Allegra, etc.? They really help a lot of people.
