Boy or girl?

Hello! I would like to know the gender of this kitten. I know that most torties are female but he/she looks almost like a male.

Female, because it looks like the anus and genital opening are close to each other; in males there's a space for the testicles to grow in.

Looks like a little girl to me, as the anus and urethral opening are closer than I'd expect on a boy. Should be more evident as the kitten ages, though.

W Willowy Maurey i see what you’re saying, but doesn’t the opening look more like a circle to you than a slit? I’m not an expert.

I think that's due to the blurring, and partially due to the age of the kitten. There looks to be a small slit. It'll become more apparent, either way, when the kitten ages more. Some cats will have slightly ambiguous genitals, especially when young.

Here are a couple girls with more ambiguous genitals -- the biggest tell is the distance between anus and opening.
