Botero has died

You might know his art better than him. His style was so distinctive, it was Boteroesqe.

He was 91, on Sept. 15, 2023.

This called, Cat. He liked cats, but also people, horses, etc. The people were often anatomically correct, if too thick.

You're right I did not immediately know the name but I definitely recognized his art. RIP Botero.

Oh that's so sad. I always loved his work. When I was living in NYC, at one point they placed a lot of his sculptures lining Park Avenue. Added a very whimsical touch to the streetscape.
