The kittens I’m adopting (they’re around two and a half months old, and are brothers) have finally gotten over their ringworm. They are going to get fixed, and come home Saturday. However, I have a dilemma in that I am leaving for a week long trip on Sunday, the day after they get home.
My mom will be home with them, so they’ll be fed and cared for, but I’m worried that me not being present during their adjustment period might hurt my chances of bonding with them. I’m going to try to FaceTime them and talk to them for a little bit each day, but I don’t know if that’s enough.
Are my fears founded? Or am I being a paranoid new kitty mommy?

Birds it might matter, kittens no. As long as some human is socializing with them your good

A ArtNJ I’m so glad to hear that. Mom will definitely socialize with them.
