black spot on cats anus

my cat who is a 4 year old male who is fixed has this black spot on his anus. he’s being a little more aggressive then normal but he’s a pretty aggressive cat is general. but he isn’t scooting around on his bum or overly licking it. i’m just wondering is this something that serious? i keep trying to take a picture but it’s near impossible.

It would be his anal gland, they often look like little black spots. They are placed at about 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock on his anus. Occasionally they block and need to be expressed and usually smell. Often a little bit of poop will stick to them, it may come off on its own but can be helped by using a warm damp cloth if your cat will let you otherwise try putting a blob of original Vaseline on them. If you can post a picture it would help.
