Black spot in my cat’s eye

Hi there,
my cat Kiki has one black pot on his eye. I am noticing it for about 2 months and in that time it grew to this size (it is visible on the photos below). He is 9 months old and he is growing fast. He has 4,7 kg currently. So I don’t know if it can be pigment dot which is growing with him or something else (melanoma). :/
Have anyone else had the same case with his cat and what happend?
I would really appreciated it to share your story.

I'd have the vet take a look at it. Many vets will respond to emails so if you do that, include the pictures.

I found some threads about pigment in eyes that may be of some help but obviously won't replace your vet.

Hey I have just read your post and wondered how your Kiki had gotten on? She is very sweet. We have just had a similar spot appear on our Mags, I have spent a long time searching, and with most things these forums are great for advice. So am currently looking for advice. Kindest regards

the dark spot got bigger. We went so animal specialist for eyes and he said that it’s a 30-40% chance that it is cancer and the rest that it isn’t. He said that the best option is to remove his eye but for now we didn’t decide fot that yet. We hope that everything will be ok.
I hope your cat will be ok.

Hey thank you for getting back to me, we are due to see the specialist on Wednesday, so will let you know the outcome of our visit too. We are expecting the same news.
