Best omega 3 oil for cats

I took my itchy kitty to the groomer. After the groomer, he said he didn't see any dry skin or dandruff on Delilah, but he suggested adding fish oil to her diet.

My problem is, I have to be careful of generic "fish oil" since it can have catfish in it (I'm allergic).

So now I've seen sardine oil, salmon oil, herring oil, krill oil, and a dozen others. People have also suggested adding coconut oil or olive oil.

Is there one oil better than others to add to her diet, or does it even matter?

I use red salmon oil and it seems to work. I also put coconut oil on my finger tips and massage onto the cats skin. It leaves the coat a bit greasy for a few days but does the trick.

My cats pretty much hated any type of fish oil I tried to add to their diet until I tried Krill Oil. That one they didn't mind.
