Bald spot suddenly appeared!

We applied Revoultion Plus between Gypsys shoulder blades on the 22nd as we gave done every month for several years. Today, 2 days later, I noticed a bare spot at where I think is the application site is but there is also a scratch! We have never had a bald spot before. This was the 3rd dose out of a 3 dose package from Chewy. I did haul her out from under the bed earlier but can't feel any sharp placeses on the frame. She's not acting like it's bothering her... really bothering me. Has anyone ever had a reaction to Revolution plus? What can I put on the scratch? Prosense & pet Hydrocortisone expired. She can't reach the spot any human stuff I can use? Olive oil etc.... If scratch gets swollen or inflamed of course we will be heading to emer vet. She is acting totally normal.

I was hoping she'd take a nap so I can get a better photo but she wants to go outside and is pulling a guilt trip on me.

Just now. As shown by my thumb its fairly large, does scratch kinda look like it's healing or is it just my wishful thinking?

If that’s where you put the Revolution plus, it is possible that the scratch was already there and the product inflamed it. Either way call the manufacturer, and report it. The number should be on the box.
If it was my cat, I wouldn’t rush to the vet this weekend.
I have seen cats get bald dots from flea treatments.
You might want to keep inside for the weekend.

Thank for the input. I was going to contact Chewy, where I had ordered the Revolution from, but I'll contact the manufacturer. This is really weird, never had anything like this happen before.

Hadn't realized I hadn't finished this. I contacted both Chewy and the manufacturer, got a refund from Chewy and an apology from the manufacturer. Started using oral Credelio and Heartguard for cats. Thanks
