Time to make the apple run....the Grannies are in the Bins! We'll go down during the week; hopefully fewer people. This is where we buy 100 pounds of apples and I make tons of applesauce, apple pies, apple dumplings, apple fritters, apple everything! When we're done, the freezers are full of apple goodies. One of the things I just love about the fall season!
Rick told me last year not to make as much applesauce as he wouldn't be working. He always took applesauce in his lunch. So I cut back on the applesauce and....lo and behold.....I ran out. There's no applesauce to be had in our freezers. So much for cutting back. I'll be making my regular amount this year.
