Anal Glad Expressed, change in recognition?

Allie had her anal glands expressed and when she came home Oliver woke up and said hello to her and smelled her nose etc and went back to sleep..They were fine all night but this morning when Allie went nose to nose with him he hissed and growled.

I was thinking Oliver had constipation since he didnt go yesterday and today it was kind of hard and small so I gave him lactolose today, I dunno

It could be that Allie still has the smell of the vets still on her. Rub a cloth over Oliver and then rub it over Allie.

Hi. If the scent swap doesn't resolve the issue, then it could have little do with Allie and more to do with Oliver's constipation. Did you see any positive changes with the scent swap and the lactulose?

I havnt seen a hiss today from Oliver and I dont think it was constipation..I was concerned because when Allie first got back Oliver sniffed her up and down but did not care at all until the next morning
