I've got my 16 year old kitty in one of those pens right now. She's got strict activity restrictions after a significant surgery for a middle ear infection. I love it because it's large enough that the litter box and food are not right on top of each other or her but small enough that she's not running laps or climbing the walls. It's also easy enough for me to climb in with her to give her medicine and clean up the place.
