Hi all,

New poster here. A bit of background, I'm 27 and I grew up almost my entire life handling kittens for rescue groups that needed to be bottle fed and rubbed down to pee.

Recently adopted a pair of 4mo sibling kittens who got spayed and neutered on Monday the 7th. Due to the shelter being closed that day, the shelter picked them up from the vet and housed them until the 8th when I picked them up. While I wasn't to concerned about the male, his sister is a ball of energy. I set up a small car travel hut to contain her in the evening, which worked for 3 days (8th through the 11th until she figured out the zippers) but if not carefully monitored she will zip, dart, jump, and climb.

She and her brother have checkups with my local vet this Tuesday, but I'm still internally freaking out about her spay spot because it's been forever since I've been around it. This was taken last night before we stashed her. She eats, poops, plays, cuddles, and everything normally. No blood, no irritation, and no indication it's doing anything. But I'm just so worried for some reason am I just crazy?

Thank you all for responding. I do feel better now. Once she's fully healed I know I'll wonder why I was worried. Here are the two kittens for viewing pleasure.

White tipped paws is Mochi, the female. Brown tipped is her Brother, Tochinoshin

Hi again everyone. Been a while. I had posted on here a few months back about my female spay stiches. They have healed nicely and without issues! Wanted to thank you all for calming me down. Also wanted to post an update on them since they've settled into their permanent home

Tochinoshin the male, full tabby legs
Mochi the female, white tipped paws
