Evening, I've recently become the proud owner of a beautiful little kitten. I spent the first couple of weeks at home with her, however I now need to leave her at home whilst I go to work. I'm worried she may get bored or lonely during the day. I have plenty of games and she had places to climb around the flat.
I'm considering getting a second kitten (which I would introduce to the house properly) to keep her and each other company.

I can afford to get a second cat however in all honesty would rather not.

Advice please? Am I worrying about nothing or should I get another kitten. Cheers

Most cats do prefer to have a cat companion.  Yes.

The difficult is to be sure they get to be pals. The quarantee isnt 100% sure...

A possibility you talk with a shelter nearby, and agree with them if it doenst turn out at least decently, you can return the kitten (or adult, but friendly and kitten sociale cat).    They may accept the proposal - especielly if you choose a black one.  Blacks have often more difficult to get adopted.

Good luck!
