Hello fellow cat people! We just got our 6 month kitten spayed and just found out that our vet used both dissolvable and non dissolvable stitches. Our baby has to wear a onesie for the next 10 days until our follow up. Has anyone's kitty gotten non dissolvable stitches after a spay surgery? We've never heard of this way of doing things so just a little bit taken a back. Our vet is amazing just in some ways, this included, can be a little old school. The previous cat we had a long time ago got spayed at a low cost clinic, got sent home with dissolvable stitches and that was the end of it.

All mine have had non dessolvable stitches. When you take your kitten back on day 10 your vet will simply snip and remove them.
