Hello!! I have 2 5 week old kittens with no mama. They were found outside alone and I’m fostering them. They are perfect and eating canned food and gaining weight but they keep crying and trying to nurse on my male cat LOL. I put some KMR in a dish the other day thinking maybe they wanted milk but it gave them diarrhea.

I know they should still be nursing at this age but I don’t know if I should give KMR or if this is just them wanting to comfort nurse. They don’t nurse on each other. Just my fat male cat

You can soak the ends of a cloth in KMR and let the kittens suckle on that. If the KMR is causing diarrhea you can use full fat goat milk. Either is very good for them.

Unsworen is best, but it shouldnt. Goats milk is much safer and also better than cow milk (Processed Cow milk we usually dont recommend, unless you dont have absolutely nothing else to try with. Although to be honest, milk from cows of old types if raw, is probably OK).
