Sydney , worst news possible .....

bad news about my sweetie-pie
the morning after we returned from our vacation , I went to pick him up at the pension .
The worst news possible was waiting for us : dearest Sydney left for the Rainbow Bridge ; he got a heart attack and died instantly ; he was to be 2 on August 15 !!!! Poor kitty ....; the hardest thing is that I have not been able to say a last goodbye and give a last hug to him .... THAT HURTS SO MUCH ...................

I am so very sorry that you had to lose your kitty Syndey this way!
Your only comfort is knowing that he is at the Bridge waiting for you to come and greet him some day. I hope that you also get comfort from knowing that you provided him with a great life and a lot of love in his short two years.

My heart aches for you. I have lost many pets, and the heartache is terrible. Sidney had a loving home with you, and he can never be replaced. I know he was very special. I do hope that you will be able to get a kitten soon. Although you will never forget Sidney, a needy baby will help you with the pain. Bless your heart.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sidney was so lucky to have you to love him so much. He will wait for you at the Rainbow Bridge. I agree with Jeanie that I hope you will get another fur child soon, not to take Sidney's place, but because there are so many out there that need the love and care you have to give. If you save another fur baby Sidney will bless you until you can be together again. Blessed be dear heart.

I am SO sorry to hear that. Every cat-owner's heart will be going out to you as not to be able to say goodbye to your kitty and to be there with him at that moment is the worse possible thing.

This was a terrible way to come home to , after such a great vacation in France ... ! Sydney was my sweetest kitty and the heartache is almost unbearable ... ! I know he is happy now at the rainbow bridge , so I wish him lots of fun and many many great friends there !!!
Thanks to our Kitty and Casper , I found an adress of a nearby cat-shelter . And guess what ??? We went to have a look !! As soon as we entered the cat section , there was one small kitten that started meouwing at us , and continued till we took notice of her . Everytime we turned away to look at the other cats , she started yelling at us !!! Then .... I took her out of her cage , and the sweetie started purring as if she knew me all her life !!!!
Sooooooooooooooooo ...... we took her home !!! Her name is Maya , she is a rescue (she was found ) . She is absolutely adorable !!
I will post pics as soon as possible !! Little Maya is the best way to heal the pain in my heart !! Thanks Maya !!

Well, bad things do happen to good people, but God always brings something good out of it. Maya had no one; now she has a loving home. She certainly made it clear what she wanted, didn't she? I hope she's a sweet little terror! Aren't all kittens little terrors with halos?

I think Sydney told Maya what a wonderful family you have. Your little kitty guardian angel is already looking after you.

Maya is just a beautiful little girl. While she will never replace Sydney, she can fill you with love again. I'm sure she sensed that were sad and wanted to share her love with you.

I am so very very sorry to hear about Sydney!!! Had he been sick at all? It seems odd that he just had a heart attack like that, not being very old or anything. poor thing. I know how I would feel if I were you right now....my heart goes out to you, and my prayers. My Merlin will be 2 in September, and I don't know how I would deal with it if something like this happened to him. We are here for you if you need to talk....I saw the picture of Maya in another thread, and she is a sweetie! I hope this will ease your pain a bit, but I know you will always remember sweet Sydney.

What a beautiful little fur child. I feel sure that Sidney sent you to her. You needed each other. Maya is a wonderful name for her. My three say thanks for taking her and Blessed be to both of you.
