How Much Should I Feed ?

How much and how often should i be feeding my kittens (all under 6mnths old)

i try to keep it to three times a day but sometimes they howl so much i feel like maybe im starving them and feed them more

My decision was based on weighing the suggested feeding schedule of the chosen food by observing the amount my cat actually eats. Initially, I threw away a lot of food by attempting to feed my cat 2 (6 oz) cans a day. At present, I feed Flyer 3 oz. of wet food (Natural Balance or Nutro Complete Care) and 1/2 cup of dry for free feeding (Castor & Pollux Ultramix). I have an adult cat, though, but I imagine a similar approach could be used for kittens.

Thanks to you all. I feed my cats 3 times a day or so. Shenandoah gets 1/2 of a 3 oz can 3 times a day. Humble gets not quite 1/4 a cup 3 times a day.

They weigh 14 pounds and I am trying to help them lose a pound or so.
