Well, not actually IN Denver (yet), but the higher mountains could get up to a FOOT of snow tonight and into tomorrow. They are saying that Friday night it could snow down to 6000 ft (remember, Denver is the Mile High City - 5280 ft. Where I live it's about 5600 ft.), and have flurries in the Denver-Metro area. Man it seems early for this!

Yeah it sucks. We got snow in the higher elevations here in Utah a few times in the last week (7000 ft and above). I may end up not seeing the full bloom of colors this year. I'd have to have a 4 wheel drive and chains... my little Daewoo just wouldn't make it!

Well, the fall colours are really starting to show here, so probably won't be long. We've had a really hot summer, so that usually means an early and long winter!

The peaks of Mt. Marcy (5433' elevation-highest point in NY state) & Whiteface Mt. (4867' elevation) in our Adirondack Mts. have been snow covered since late August-

It was a perfect day here in South Carolina today. It was about 80 and a light breeze blowing in the pines, sunshine and moonbeams here!

Well here its cooled off alot and we have had lots of fog and the humming birds left early and all of that combined points towards a bad winter. And we haven't had a really bad one in a couple of years.

Obviously no one wants to hear about the sunshine and temps in the high 80's in Hawaii.
Actually, I do understand the cold and snow problem. I lived in northern Virginia for eight years and always dreaded the coming of Fall because it meant snow and cold could not be far behind. And as a California girl originally I hated snow. My sympathy to all who have to put up with it.

It was only 50* here now it's 45 and the heat index says it feels like 42. I was wrong. It's supposed to snow tomorrow.
I guess I have to go look for my gloves and hat.
