Hugo Chavez is REALLY upseting me - Page 2

It was VERY heartening to hear some prominent Democrats lashing out at that moron Chavez also for his remarks about the President. That warmed my heart. Rangle, Pataki, and PELOSI even, I was wonderfully amazed.
There is still hope for this country.

On another note, Danny Glover stinks.

A lot of people don't like Bush. I'm not sure that they were applauding Chavez or were stating their opinion of Bush.

people need to understand that how some people dislike bush( and i am not a big fan of his also) the UN body is made of many different nations, most of whom are not friends with the west, that is who was doing all that applauding. Who the presdent is does not much matter. Take a look at the Un body then look at its make up.
To most of the UN body anytype of decocracy is a threat.

I would hope that people did listen to the speechs those nuts jobs made.
the american people need to catch the clue bus, dont vote down party lines.
vote for people that are the best choice.

we got to hear from 2 people that hate america, not just the presdent, one of those 2 wants to trigger WW3.

Its just a pity that Chavez won't apply those same rights he uses while at the UN to his own people

No matter how bad Bush is, no one ever disappeared on account of him.

Good post Sheng. Ain't that the truth.

I agree that it was awful to have Chavez make such hateful comments! I will not purchase Citgo gasoline again, now that I realize it is a state run company of Venezuela. I cannot in good concience put my money into a government that is so evil to its citizens.

I heard that 10,000 people signed a petition against him. Every name on the list was researched, and the companies they worked for were pressured to fire them. That is pure evil, and I am done with Citgo!

I am also trying to stop buying Chinese products, and focus on buying American. And yes, I count Canadian goods as American!

Aren't you forgetting several suspected terrorists? Isn't being transported by CIA planes, and held in an "undisclosed location", disappearing?

That is the CIA. I kinda doubt that Bush actually ordered those detained himself. He is too busy to get involved in things like that.

CIA is supposed to be non-partisan.

Excuse me? This is a matter of national security, and you believe he's "too busy" to get involved? I should like to think that "watchdogging" Independent Agencies is part of the job description, too!

i would not think the presdent would know of every single person that was taken in.
If you are boss, you are not a very good boss if you mico manage your people.
dont put a person in charge of something if you dont trust the choices they make.

Even when the peope "taken in" were top echelon al Qaeda operators, or allegedly directly involved in plotting 9/11?
Sorry, but I most certainly do expect the president to be fully informed about such intelligence operations, and if he isn't, why not?
Yeah, maybe he was "too busy" reading a book to a grade school class

I agree. What exactly would Bush's "more important" business be exactly??????

top echelon people sure, But do you really think during WW2 they took the time out to tell the presdent they got some private first class I would doubt they even would tell him if they got some general.unless he has something important to say.

People give far more credit and blame to a president. during good and bad times.
you could expect it, but that does not mean the people with the infomation are going to tell him. unless a choice, needs to be made.

if the american people would get off there butts and stop picking there leaders based on the media, then maybe are leaders could do more important stuff then spending time with kids reading a book, cause we know that kids are not important now, so why would someone want to do something like waste there time with them.

7-11 is just worried about losing business is all.

I am betting this is going to have a big negative effect of their sales.

Can you actually believe how many holidays our goverments take in a year?
I swear they only work when "they want to" which is not equivalent to 4 months in a year
