A friend gave me a feral kitten (she's called Quicksilver) about a month ago. I took her to the vet coz she kept sneezing green stuff and had crusty eyes, with discharge, whenever she woke up from sleeping. It turned out she had cat flu. The vet didn't tell me what one it was she just gave me ani-biotics and eye ontment, then told me to go back in a week. After a week I took her back and the vet asked how she was, I said she still sneezed every so often and she said to stop giving her the ani-biotics, then gave me worming powered, flea drops and ear drops.
I know I'm babbing on but here's my question:
She still sneezes every so often, her eyes go abit crusty if she sleeps too much and every so often she breths funny in her sleep.
I wanted to know does she still have cat flu and should I take her to the vet again?
I think she might have herpes, coz her eyes weeped when she had the flu and every so often they weep when she gets crsty eyes.
Thnaks for reading.

If you have concerns, I would contact your vet....your kitten may still be getting over her flu..but best to be on the safe side.

Which antibiotics did she have. It could be felline chlamydious and then it has to be tetracyclines or another antiobiotics (I have forgotten the name) if it effects the lungs. I lost a kitten because the vet didn't know that.
It is a nasty disease that is difficult to get rid of and they really need the correct antibioticum. If it is herpes Lysine might help. There is several threads about here on the site. Search for Lysine in the health-forum.

It is more likely she has pnemonia or bronchitis due to chlamydia or herpes. Tell the vet since it can escalate fast.
