I'm sorry that you are so sad about it.
But, NOT trying to get your hopes up, you can cramp and still be pg.If you don't start, I would take a test.
It took me 9 months to get pg with my second child. We tried everything in the book...........on our own with no medical intervention that is.
Good luck and may you be blessed with a little one SOON!!!

How do you know you are NOT pg? 6 weeks is a long time to be late.

I did do a test, that came up negative. Plus I'm 43. It really would be much better if I weren't. I'd probably forget where I put the baby down or something.

More likely the "opposite", i.e. early menopause...

Awww....

Well if you were here I'd give you a big fat soul friend hug!
Girl, I go through that like 5 times a year. The "thinking" you're pregnant. It's terrible. Is such a wierd emotion that you have when you think that, and then your body almost wants to feel pregnant.

It's a very strange feeling to think you're pregnant. I totally know how you feel. Of course you have the right to be sad. I usually don't get too sad, but I do pout for a while by myself. I think it's just too many emotions at one time. I sure do you hope you feel better about it soon. And who knows, maybe your body is telling you it's about time to reproduce.

Good luck...

What she said, LOL. And the pouting is best done in the tub with either chocolate or champagne. Ah...see? At least you can still have champagne!

I can understand why you are sad... I just get sad over the thought of being able to spend a weekend with someone and it doesn't go through.

As my mother says "everything happens for a reason" like the other's have said... maybe your body is letting you know that it's ready to have a baby, just not right now

I hope you are feeling better!

It is okay to be sad when things like this happen. A spiritual teacher that I often have gone to for advice says that moments like these are a gift, because you learn exactly what you want.

I hope you feel better soon. I’m sending vibes and prayers your way.

Aw - I like that way of thinking about it.

Although I was confused for a bit. I thought you said "spiteful" teacher.
(LOL at me)

Unforutunately, I started today
Again, I am so sorry!! I firmly believe that things do happen for reasons.Although we don't understand them at the time.I am sending "baby" vibes and good thoughts your way.

Thanks guys.... I told John that I started this afternoon for sure.... he was pretty dissapointed, he told me that deep down inside, he was excited, he wanted for it to happen.
We're alright with this for now, at least we both know how we feel (like you've posted) about the situation.

Its so weird how I feel though, I thought I'd feel totally different when the time came, thats for sure.

I can relate as well. I thought I was too because even though a home test said negative, my tom was 25 days late...tom just showed up today.

Hugs, it will happen when it's meant to be (or atleast that's what I believe.)

I think its natural to be saddened by this. I have wanted to find a GOOD man and settle down for a long time now and it just hasn't happened for me. And I want kids so bad and I have a little niece and everytime I look at her I hear my biological clock ticking. I turn 26 next month. And I was married to a cheater and I have had two miscarriages. So I know what you are going through. I am sending hugs for you because I know how painful this was.

I know I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up about it... but being over 10 days late, when I'm usually SO regular, really got our hopes up and we thought it was a pretty sure thing.

I just had to vent to someone.... maybe someone else will understand why I'm sad over something I never really had in the first place.
Well.... It's an amazing thing to think that you are caring someone inside you. When its not planned (and maybe when it is) your kinda in a mix between WOW! and OH CR**! (are you allowed to say that on here?). I'm sorry it didnt work out. But maybe now that you bothknow you wanted a baby maybe you could start trying? I know thats what happened to my sister 2 of the times she got pregnant. Anyways *HUGS* I hope you feel better soon.
