Hi there! Just wanted to stop by and introduce my little family and myself. I am a former Iowan that moved to Brazil in Dec. '05. My partner and I have 9 furkids. 4 of which were born Sunday (9/17) at 4 am. Currently we have:

Sasha - 7 month old Siamese Mix
Hades - 7 month old solid black and brother to Sasha
Callisto - White with smudge on forehead beauty
Persephone - Also white and Callisto's sister, whom we call "Itty Bitty" because she's so little.

Then our newest ones:
Stumpy *chuckle* - formerly a street cat who we became attached to and fed whilst pregnant. She just had the 4 kittens. Names are still being decided.
2 black and while males
1 dark gray almost black male
1 grey tigerstriped little girl.

Hopefully I will be able to show you all our little family very soon.

Cheers,
~Guilty

O Guilty!

(I wish I could remember the Brazilian greetings one of my favorite radio hosts, who hails from there, opens his show with...unfortunately, since moving out to the desert from L.A., I can't pull in the station...)

Anyway, sure am glad to see a fellow servant to "9" out there! Actually, 21 called me their humble servant, until my husband ultimatumized me with an impending divorce and forced relocation back to the city, with its stupid quotas. So now, twelve of the 21 are in safe haven in a kinder, gentler locale to the north. That leaves me feeding, cleaning, brushing, combing, playing with, and loving 9 myself, ranging in age from 16+ (Nicolas T. Cat) to 2 (Baby Su). All are rescues, and all, of course, are spayed/neutered! I've loved cats and lived with them since birth, so it comes natural. Looking forward to pix and to putting up some of our own! Purrz to you and yours from me and mine.

Oh, all of you are so sweet! And thank you so much for the warm welcome!
You really know how to make a girl feel at home. Well, I've a bit of downtime today, have a horrendous cold and am feeling a bit under the weather, so I will be working on those pics for you. I just took some new today of the itties and are they ever cute!

Again, thank you so much for the welcome and it's really nice to be here!

Hi Rhiannon:

A cold? In Brazil? Really?! (Just kiddin'; I just had one, too, and I'm in the desert!) Look forward to seeing those pix, and yeah, we new kittens and young cats have to stick together -- it's a jungle out there!
