can cats catch human colds?

i have a cold right now so i have been in bed for the past few days resting
and i was wondering can cats catch it? my cat loves to sleep next to me while i sleep and i sometimes sneeze i don't want her to catch anything LOL.

In theory, they can't. However, Jamie was sick last year during human flu virus season, and my vet tested him for it, as she'd been seeing some cases of sick humans bringing in sick cats, and the antibody tests were positive, so there can be exceptions, but they're very, very, rare. Generally it's not something to worry about.
