Kitten in Custody

This is why I try to avoid kitten pictures. It makes me want one soooo bad! That face is so precious I could just eat it up!

Well, there is someone that I work with that really wants the kitten for his daughter. I'm thinking of letting him adopt him. It's so hard because the kitten is so darn cute! But I already have 3 cats in a small condo. And Jake isn't that fond of the kitten and is just sulking around the house. Dang this is hard... but I did take him to save him from being abandoned, knowing I should probably find him another home. AAAaarrrrggghhhhh!! I'm going crazy!

Tammie, I don't know what to tell you with your dillema. Kittens are so time consuming and have so much energy, but they are so adorable that it makes the kamikazi kitten phase fun. And he really is just adorable! But ultimately, you have to think of what is best for your existing resident cats and for the kitten too. Is Jake annoyed by him just because he's a hyper little kitten, or does he take offense to just another cat in the house?

That fifth picture of the Saturday set is just about the cutest kitten picture I've ever seen.

I hear ya. Jake isn't just annoyed by him. He seems depressed and even mad at me. He's just not himself anymore. And Jake is my buddy boy. I really think it's better for all of us if the kitten goes to another home at some point. One of the guys at work has already backed out though, so I guess I have him a little longer. But the guy at work called his landlord and they wanted a non refundable fee and a monthly fee and he's just going through a divorce so he can't do it. I'm glad that at least he was responsible enough to check before taking the kitten.

Yes, it is VERY difficult. But it's really for the best and I'm really at my limit in my small condo anyway. I just hope I find a home for him soon. The longer it takes, the harder it is!

I'll try to take some more pictures tonight. If not, then I will for sure tomorrow.
