I guess I'm just frustrated....

Today at work I found out that I was approved for my schedule change. I'm now going to be working 4 nine hour days and a half a day on Saturday. I was really excited, and after work today ran home and told DH. He was kind of upset, because he is moving to days next week and we had planned to carpool to work. This was the first schedule change that has been in my favor that I have ever had. At my previous job, I only got to pick a new schedule because my team was being eliminated, and I was forced to move. Right now I'm just frustrated that he can't be happy for me.


I'm sorry if this post makes no sense. I'm just a little out of sorts.

Cool on getting your schedule change! Maybe you could suggest to your husband that you could carpool some of the days together? I'm sure he'll come around once he sees how happy you are about the change, and once he gets used to the idea.

Thanks... He's warming up to the idea now, and is being less of a pain about it. I think once he sees how happy I am he'll know it was a great idea.

Yes, I understand completely. My husband & I work together at the same place for the last four years (we just quit today) Thank god! And he is having a hard time adjusting to not going to work with me. I'm mainly excited and I'm scared as well, but I just keep reminding myself, the new job will be so much better! I can sit down & it's with computers .

I know once he gets settled in his new job, he'll be fine, but it's hard watching him be so sad. (Sorry, I didn't mean to highjack your post).
