Ok, I just can't shut up anymore.
I believe that pot smoking is harmful to your health, as is any kind of smoking. I think it CAN be a stepping stone to more harmful drugs. I know that some people smoke waaaay too much. I also know that there are weak and very strong strengths of marajuana.
With that said, I think there is a time and place for it, just as there is for a glass of wine. Of course, an alcoholic shouldn't drink wine and an addict shouldn't smoke pot. We are all different. Someone taking a few hits off a joint doesn't strike me as a bad person.

So, smoking a joint is as terrible in your eyes as MURDER
???! WOW! Well, you think that some very wonderful people who I know and love are disgusting and belong in jail then. I hope none of your children ever experiment with pot.
There is NO justification in the use of an illegal substance such as marijuana...ever!
Several years ago my (then) elderly MIL was staying with us while she was recouperating from a broken hip. She was in a lot of pain. She had no appetite for days and was already underweight. She refused to do exercises that the therapyst suggested. She barely got out of bed, basicly just to use the bathroom. Someone gave her a joint. She smoked about a third of it. Well, guess what? She got up a little while later and ate dinner! I am not suggesting that it is a miracle drug, just that it has its place.
You may say that we could have gone back to her doctor and got something else to help her. Hmmm, yeah - wait for an appointment, drag her to the doctor (in pain), get a perscription that may or may not work...

Gee, I think that people who speed on US roads are more of a danger than someone smoking a joint in their own garage away from their children. Should you move to another country for speeding???
Ladies, I respect the fact that you are taking a stand against illegal drugs, but I really think that you are WAAAAAAAAAAAAy overreacting.
