Ocean City 9/11 Firefighter Memorial

After we visited the Gem Show this weekend we went to see the new 9/11 Firefighter Memorial that was unveiled on Monday in Ocean City, MD. It was very touching. There were flowers on left on the memorial and several people were wiping away tears. Thought you some of you would appreciate seeing these pics. I didn't get to spend enough time there. I hope you can read the words. This one is a piece of the World Trade Center. It was very emotional to stand so close to it. I wanted to touch it, but I just couldn't lift my hand to do it...like somehow I would either ruin it, or be so connected.....I just don't know how to describe it.

What a wonderful thing........Jerry and I would have had tears in our eyes as well. We went on vacation last year to Ocean City.......wish it had been there then!
