well it didn't take long!

We have already added another addition........His name is Crosby. He was the last remaining one from the litter we rescued Sammie from. We couldn't very well let him go to the pound now could we? Of course not!
I had gotten Sammie free of fleas but with Crosby came more fleas. And, of course, they are jumping onto Sammie. I ordered some capstar. Does this help? and i have bathed them both in Dawn. Washed all there bedding and i'm going to get some flea powder to sprinkle in their bedding. The will be 8 weeks next weekend and go to the vet on friday.

Welcome to the TCS family, Crosby!! Hope that you solve the flea problem soon! Be careful about using harsh products on kittens, tho. Dish soap can strip vital skin oils and the scent is harsh on a cat's ultrasensitive sense of smell. You can use a weak salt bath next time; the salt dries out the fleas (in our area, it's high desert so we only have the occasional gray flea, which pretty much stick to rodents)

Sammie is adorable! I dunno about the products you mention, but the vet can tell you what's best for kittens so young. When they're older, the topicals are very effective; we like Advantage by Bayer. But the topicals are not for use on kittens so young. Let your vet recommend something...
