if you haven't already, post in the 'hints' thread - there are bunches of questions there to help your fellow SS find the perfect gifts!

I've had a few PM's asking if the Santas reveal their identity. That is totally up to you. Some do, and some don't. If you are shipping overseas, it is hard to get around that, unless you put a friend or relative's name on the package and customs declaration.

Many people put hints in their packages to help the recipient guess their identity. My favorite hint last year was the small cow and the piece of macaroni
My Santa did not put a hint in the package, but I was able to guess from the postmark. Some Santas identified themselves in a card inside the package. It's really up to how nice, or how evil you want to be.

Yes, and you may notice that many of us have taken off their "location" city and put something else...or nothing. Last year I sent a box that had "Cindy" written all over it. My name is Kim. LOLOL

Yes, I was pretty amused when she started that line of thinking. But I think she had it figured out within a few hours or at the most - a day.

There was one person last year who never revealed themselves that I know of, and that's kind of different, but to each his own! Most everyone wants to keep 'em guessing, but eventually comes out with it.

The limit is $15, and you should try to be close but no one is going to bust you if you're a little over.
We want to make it fair for everyone so everyone gets something similar in value. But it sure does make it a challenge!

I've actually been buying for my SS since right after last Christmas. Got stuff on clearance then, and have been picking up a thing here or there along the way. But honestly I don't think I've even spent $5!
So I still have at least $10 to customize for my person.

I'm not psychic,I just see through people
Well I've just been reading the regulations
and for anybody from the UK who is posting to the USA be sure to read this about sending food,That also includes cat munchies and cat food.

If your parcel is a personal gift you don't need clearance but you will have to state clearly on the parcel that it is a personal gift

What about if you are in the UK? $15 is about £7.88 here and living in London I can tell you that doesn't buy too much. I personally didn't know there was a limit and my personal limit was about £15-20. Having lived in the US and in England I can say it wouldn't be fair as $15 in the states takes you a lot further than £8 in England.

I don't want to break any rules so I will spend £7.88 if that's the rule.
