But we don't have the money for the adoption fee right now
She is the CUTEST thing and looks EXACTLY like Trav's childhood kitty, White Socks. Her name is Lola and she is 14 weeks old. She is light gray with pale white markings, a little white nose, hazel eyes and the CUTEST little all-white paws! Trav is sooooo in love with her but we don't have the $90 to adopt her right this moment. I am so sad.....she is PERFECT! But now that we are talking about Lola, Trav is kinda for getting another cat. Especially with the new cat tree we bought that Oscar hasn't been to fond of right now.The one thing that is really stopping us is Trav doesn't think we have room in an apartment, even though our apartment is about the size of a small house. I'm sure we could get the $90 somehow. It's just not paycheck time for us right now.

Do you live in an apartment and how many cats do you have? Annd if so, how big is your apartment?

By the way, she looks like this but with all white feet

I had two boys in my 600 sq ft apartment, and that was plenty of room for them to go crazy and run around. I think you probably have enough space!

I have a very small apartment, along with a male roomie, and I've got two cats running amok. I think it's just right!

I have 2 cats in a 1 bedroom apt. I'm not sure on the square footage. I think we could fit a couple my kitties in this place if we had to. Besides, I think having 2 cats is way more fun than having one. You get to watch them interact!

One bedroom apt. and 2 furkids works fine for us....

Just be sure that you have enough money for deposits, health care and food for the next 20 years.

I also like to put my two cents in here. Two boys, Scratch Fury and 8-Bit, one husband, Michael, myself and 750 square feet it works out just fine. We are going to get a third when we have a little more space.

I hope you get her, she looks just wonderful.

It isn't just the square footage that counts for the cats - vertical spaces count too! We lived in 700 SF, 1100 SF, 870 SF and now in 1036 SF and are now getting our third cat.
Our two were never cramped in any of the apartments.

Now I'm just trying to convince mom and dad to buy us an early Christmas present but I think its a big fat no on that one. So I guess she wasn't meant to be. But we are definately keeping our eyes peeled now because now I get the okay to have another cat sometime in the near future.

*Just a side note: We do have the money to care for another cat. Money is just tight the next few weeks......

We have a decent sized 1 bedroom - with our 2 boys, and they have plenty of room to run around and terrorize EVERYTHING

They have a lot of vertical space as well.

I hope that you guys will be able to get her - hopefully it'll play out right

I don't live in an apartment, but I live in a double wide. It's a 28'X58'--don't know the square footage.
There are hubby and I,four skin kids and 3 furbabies in our home. The furbabies and the skin kids have PLENTY of room to romp and run around.

We have 2 cats in a 930 sq ft apartment.
No problem at all. Though we just bought a house and are upgrading to a 1170 sq ft place - they'll be in heaven!

What I want to know is how in the heck do most of you know the "square footage" of your places! That's Insane! I have absolutly no idea of the square footage of my place.

Anyway-Good luck on getting her. She sure does look scared. Hopefully she'll be sitting happily in her new home in a few weeks, playing with Oscar.

I just looked up my first apartment online to try and get the square footage so I could give you a good estimate, but they didn't have it listed. So, with my lacking math skills, I tried to figure it out and came up with about 600sq ft. So, give or take a few feet, it was a pretty small space and I had three cats living there (See below: Jack and Az, not listed and at RB my 26lb maine coon Mayhem) with no problems at all. They had tons of space, plently of hiding spaces, plenty of vertical spaces.... it was your average kitty fun house

So, based on that, I don't think getting one more should be a problem at all.

Is it a house/condo or an apartment? If an apartment, you can look up the listing on rent.net and it should tell you what the square footage is. If it's a house/condo the square footage would be listed on your assessment or tax bill, and in most states on your assessor's website as well. If you want to tell me your state and county (PM me if you prefer) I can most likely (depending on state) pull up your house listing and show you the detals.

I'm not a stalker
but I am a title searcher for a living so property assessments, taxes, deeds, mortgages or anything else about a property is what I search all day

I lived in a 35 sq with my ex and teufel! it was small but it was OK for one cat, then we moved to a 55sq apartment and it was a bit small but thats only because the rooms were done in a weird way!

then we moved back home and at the moment we are in a 130 sq! its very big and its got bunny, 2 kitties, me and my parents.
I feel bad that we have to move into a 43sq next month, but it is big enough for 2 kitties and a human!
