The canned looks great ...

Chicken, brewers rice( crappy source of rice depending on which deifinition you read ( it is either a by product of beer making( ie not much nutrition left) or fragments of rice similiar to wheat mill run ,corn gluten meal( not ground corn and actually helpful to acidify chicken not a worry in my book unless cat is allergic to corn, soy flour( high allergen and not a good source of protein since digetabiltiy is limited ), pearled barley( this is to close to wheat for my taste but is fine if kitty is not allergic), egg product, vegetable oil preserved with mixed-tocopherols( what veggie why are they listing it , brewers dried yeast, oat groats( not quality oats similiar to wheat mill run and brewers rice, natural flavor, calcium carbonate, soy protein isolate ( this is concentrated soy ), phosphoric acid, potassium chloride, salt, dicalcium phosphate, vitamins [Vitamin E supplement, niacin, Vitamin A supplement, calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin supplement, Vitamin B-12 supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, Vitamin D-3 supplement, biotin, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of Vitamin K activity)], choline chloride, taurine, minerals [zinc sulfate, ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, calcium iodate, sodium selenite], ascorbic acid [source of Vitamin C]

Wet great ... Dry wouldnt evan be given a second look by me ... As The big box stores have far better IMHO..
the dry is one meat three grains two decent accesory protein s and two not so great ... I dont use anything over one meat to one and half grains ...

I like the first 3 ingredients of the canned food but I don't understand why the food has potato protein included instead of all the protein coming from meat and only meat. Plus I see potatoes and rice listed as well and while I can understand why a company would use carbohydrates to form kibble I cannot understand why they need to use these types of fillers in canned foods. In fact, they don't need to do that, they just choose to.

It's one thing to see rice on the label of a canned food, it's another thing to also add potatoes and substitute some of the protein in the form of plant protein from a potato.

I tried a canned food today called Organix, and when I opened the can I saw so many chunks of rice, it's one thing if it's listed but you can't see the rice but I saw a lot of rice. Then I looked at the label and saw brown rice listed as the second ingredient. What makes these companies who put so many unnecessary fillers in a canned product think they're so superior?

Try Merrick, although it has a lot of veggies which are a good source of antioxidants the food is low glycemic.

Sorry to be so harsh, it's just my harsh opinion. I don't like it.
