I have my enclosure and a tall building for my cats. The ground is dusty and I was wondering what I could use for covering. I am afraid to use pine shavings because I don't know if it will cause termites to eat the house we just built for the kitties. Also I have a huge litter box, but they are still using the ground sometimes.
I wanted to heat and cool the building but we spent way too much on everything else. I had one cat break her leg and it cost me almost 700 dollars to have surgery.
I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on making cat shelters that would fit against the existing walls. The building is 8 foot tall so I would like to make sure they are warm, but still have room to play when it gets cold. Basically I want to make the cat houses all the way up the wall. Is this possible?
