Hello All,

I just took in a kitten rejected by it's mama and it's crawling with fleas! I know about what to do about the house and the cat but do I need something? I'm kind of stressed... Hope to hear from someone soon...

You need to sit down with a flea comb and a bowl of soapy Dawn Dish Soap water and dip the comb in the water and comb through the kitten. I have actually bathed kittens in the soap before but it depends on the kittens age. If it is too young then you do not want to bath it as they aren't able to regulate their body temperatures and the kitten could get too cold. I would just comb it, it is too young for flea treatment probably.

Ok but do I need to use anything on myself? Also, once the flea treatment is done how does it work? Do the fleas fall off?
