Hello! I just rescued this cat from the backyard of a friend my mother knows! I though he was going to be a problem since he lived mostly outdoors but he's adjusting very well! I believe he's 4 to 6 weeks old but he's pretty smart. He uses the litterbox all on his own, isn't a scratcher, although i do strim his claws, and likes to sleep a lot

I named him Parklife, after a friend. I went to the vet, got him dewormed but he vomited the medicine out. The vet said it should not be a problem because even if a little bit gets in it, it should be ok

I don't really believe him so I'm posting here to know if I should go get him dewormed again. Are there any over the counter stuff that I can use to deworm him? This isn't my first cat (although he's the only cat i have now!) but the other ones i purchased. This one came from outside living standards so any advice will be great, like things to watch out for etc.

PICS HERE! http://www.zigmaffxi.com/cat/

His breath smells like fish... a lot LOL... Anyway I can clean it up? Also, He's not afraid of the water so It's easy to bath him, what a suprise!

Hi,

Your kitten is so cute. Just out of curiosity where abouts are you? as i recently got a kitten, the owner had 8 kittens and she let them outside, 1 kitten had ran off, and your little one looks alot like my little one. She lived in maple cross near rickmansworth in hertfordshire. ( probably no where near you, but worth asking.

Here is a picture of cleo.

If you have a petmart or petsmart nearby, they have over the counter de-wormers, I wouldn't trust what that doc says either, yet you can check his doo-doo, not a fun thing, but it has to be checked before he buries it. I paid for de-worming by a vet for my new little girl, and it didn't work, yet, I bought this stuff from petmart, and it did, this was over a period of 2 weeks. I did check her doo-doo too! (sorry, couldn't avoid that !) Mike, Oregon

Dear Zigma:

There are innoculations against worms that your vet can give him. He'll need his kitten innoculations against communicable cat diseases; you vet can tell you what he needs, and a lot of vets have "kitten paks" that are comprehensive wellness packages to get your kitten started on the road to strength and a long, healthy life. Ask him or her about that when you go, and you can also ask about his breath.

He is ADORABLE! I love all cats, but I'm partial to little black males. Currently I'm owned by 9 cats, all rescues, indoors only, spayed/neutered, from over 16 years old down to 2 years old. I've lived with cats all my life, so loving cats comes natural for me.

Sure hope your little one -- what's his name? -- has a wonderful life with you! Best, Tarasgirl06, from the Mojave Desert in California
