Yes, I watched it and I agree with you about the Exile Island. Looks more like a sandbar than an island to me.

I think the other guy in the tribe that lost is on borrowed time. Next chance they get, the women are going to vote him off.

I'm pulling for the Asians, I like the personalities the best. There really didn't seem to be too much focus on the caucasian group, but they seem kind of young and stupid. I didn't appear that they had built any sort of shelter, they were just lying on fronds and complaining about the cold.

Yep, and I heard some things that really surprised me. Comments by the different groups on how they believe they are perceived...comments that I'd never heard & sure don't believe. It was weird.

I looked at this season's Exile Island and thought...ooh, no protection from storms at all! Could be really, really scary during a bad storm.

One more thought (and I hope its not perceived in the wrong way by anyone)...The older Asian gentleman said that he didn't fit into the stereotype of an Asian-American because he wasn't an engineer, didn't have money (I'm not sure of the exact things he said.) But he was a nail salon manager. I'm not sure if its this way all over, but the salons that do manis and pedis exclusively around here all all run by Asians (mostly Vietnamese). It seems that he might not have been aware of that stereotype.
Or maybe its not like that everywhere.

Actually, a lot of places around here are owned by asian people (like nail places) because it is a family business. Anyways, I watched last night and I can't wait to see the next couple weeks because there are that one person on each tribe that the tribe would just love to get rid of.

It's too bad that there isn't enough time to show what goes on outside of challanges, like with the "stolen" chicken haha and I can't believe that girl lost their chickens. I'd be pissed haha.

We missed the first 15 minutes so I couldn't get a good fix. But I think watchers of this show will be in for many surprises. Wisconsin has several cities that have a large Hmoung (mountain Laotion) population so that is the main asian population I am in contact with-they all have allotment garden and sell their produce (beautifully displayed) at all the farmer's markets. Many nail salons are owned around here my asians too. I guess it doesn't really bother me what a person's ethnic background is.
