I think I am going in to have my foot xray'd tonight. It has really been bothering me. Can you all be so kind as to send me vibes that its not broken. I really don't twant to go on vacation with a big ugly cast on my foot. It would be just my luck that it is broken right before my vacation.

When I was biking a week or 2 ago I hit it on a small stump that was in the middle of the trail. It hasn't been right since but now it feels like its gettng worse.

Thanks everyone for the vibes.

Wow I am sure that will be fun to try to walk around in at Disney. If it is broken we might have to cancel our vacation. Or I can make Lee push me aorund in a wheel chair!

IA. If you need me, just meow..
Hope your foot's not broken. Maybe it's just sprained and you'll need to be off it for a day or two.
Time off before your time off? What a thought huh??
Sending you not broken bones vibes! My kitties send their purrs to help it heal faster!

OK you guys I am getting worried now. The more I read the more Ifeel like my symptoms are pointing to a fracture. I can pinpoint exactly where the pain it and there is slight swelling. No bruising but one site said that its normal for a metatarsal fracture not to bruise. I am really going to be upset if its broken and I can do what I want to in Orlando.

Well I can just tell you what happened when I broke mine..... I was walking on an inclined driveway, right along the edge, when my foot slipped off the edge (the lawn was lower than the cement) something you might expect to sprain an ankle, not break a foot
anyway, I finished walking to the car, drove home, went to bed. The next morning when I woke up, my foot was horrible swollen, completely black and blue and I could put absolutely no weight on the foot. I had broken the 2 middle metatarsals right across the middle of my foot
and the doctor told me to get Midol for the pain! where is my vicadin???? anyway, within a couple days I was able to walk on it with my moon boot, very slowly of course
I even kept working my cook job in the evenings! only for a few hours at a time though.... so honestly, I really don't think it's broke Brandi, you might have strained a tendon or ligament, which can be really painful in itself, but that will heal fairly quickly

At the kitty's beck and call
Sending heaps of no broken foot vibes for you.

When my daughter was tiny, my cousin broke her toe by stepping into daughter's potty
(ok - we shouldn't laugh - no, hang on, we all did including my cousin
). It happened the week before she went to Florida with us on vacation - it was painful, but she managed just fine.

Still, hoping for no broken bones for you.

Well I am for sure hoping and praying that you are right! This dang internet always gets me worrying about the worst when I have symptoms that match.
I guess it makes the doctors job harder too since now the patient knows everything!!

I hope it's not broken. Sending lots of good vibes.

A couple of years ago I sprained my ankle the same day that I was going to Disney. I was in pain the whole time that we were driving there. When we got the Hotel, (Disney Coronado) they helped me and gave me a wheelchair to go to the parks. The best thing about being in a wheelchair and going to the parks is that as soon as they see you they will take you to the front of the line with the person that pushing you. You get to skip everybody, and yes you can get on all the rides.
