LuckyGirl & Louie, sleeping beauties!

This was yesterday.... my 2 babies finally slept in the same hemisphere! The back of the couch is one of her favorite places to sleep, so of course kitty see kitty do!!! Louie had to sleep up there too!

I wonder what goes on at my house while I'm a work all day to make them soooo sleepy????

And so when I came home tonight Captain Stinky Butt aka Louie, must have had an accident in the litter box, and somehow had some poopy on his fur.....despite his best attempt to rub it all off on my carpet & my couch he still smelled horrid! Did I mention that boys are much stinkier than girls??? He has one ripe hiney!

So he got his 1st bath! And hated every second of it! And he was SO cold after, I heated up the heating pad and wrapped him up in it! He was shivering... but this bath led to a major breakthrough in their relationship!!!

I know, too cute right???
PS, does anyone know, how come when she cleans him with her wet tongue he gets dry???? Hmmmm, maybe something in the sandpaper tongue?

Oh Heather! That is just TOO cute, those are great pics...I guess they get along because Luckygirl is young enough to not be so set in her ways. Bella was 5 1/2 when we got Soph and she never got over it! And yes boys are stinkier, hence the nickname for Severino is Sevystinky or Stinkylu

It really really does Sarah!

I keep the camera on standby....hubby is really starting to think I'm a little nutso. I have filled our memory card twice....and it's 128mb.

I just love taking their pictures though....I want to remember every moment of them getting to know each other. And every little thing they do is just perfectly adorable!

My hubby keeps saying, "boy if your this bad with the cats, how are you gonna be when we have baby?" I told him I was going to have the whole house under video surveilance 24hrs a day, so I won't miss a thing!

I am probably going to have to bathe him more frequently. For some reason every time he uses the litter box, the smell lingers on him....and he smells stinky afterwards.... that doesnt' happen with LuckyGirl. And I keep checking his hiney thinking that maybe he got a little bit on him, but nope! It's just the green haze that follows him out of the litter box!

Your kitties have such a way of making me jealous, LOL!!! I want to cuddle up with them both!!!

I've read that the reason their tounges are so rough and sandpapery is because they have little barbs on them, and the barbs are what trap water and dirt in them when they lick their (or their little buddies') fur. The barbs actually strip the water off of the strands of fur, leaving them dry.

I am amazed....I didn't know that. And I have to tell you, my hubby gets a little jealous too, cause now his princess LuckyGirl mostly wants to play with Louie....and not as much with Daddy.
