My son has homework tonite that has sentences that you turn into well known sayings. And for the life of me, I can't figure out this one.

A whirling pebble accumulates no moss.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

This is cool!!

What about: a rolling stone gathers no moss ?

Unfortunately, I didn't come up with that. A friend of ours is over tonight so I asked the guys and he said it. I wish I could've thought of something- I'll keep thinking just in case

We're stumped- it sounds so familiar though!

2. A canine ia a homo sapien's most highly regarded friend.
A dog is a mans best friend?

3. You can convey an equus to water, but you can't coerce it to imbibe.
You can lead a person to water, but you can't make them drink?

4. Don't compute the number of your domestic fowls before they produce young by incubation.

Don't count your eggs before they hatch?

5. A buffoon and his currency are soon divided.
A fool and his money are soon parted?

6. All is objecitve in devotion and strife.
All is fair in love and war?

7. Progeny are to be perceivable and not audible.
Kids are to be seen and not heard???

8. you can't possess your pastry and consume it, too.
You can't have your cake and eat it, too?

The phrase I know is 'Money makes the world go round', but that is hardly in the spirit..
Oh, and it's 'Don't count your CHICKENS before they're hatched'.

Perhaps the English Saying:

It takes all sorts to make the world....???

I think everyone got all the others.
