As some of you know i have recently had a run in with a cat eating a toxic plant(a corn plant/Dracaena Palm). I was given a plant called a Jade Tree/Plant also known as a money tree/plant. On some websites it says the plant is non- toxic to cats and a safe plant but i have also found a few that have said it's NOT safe for pets!!
i'm so confused!! here are a list of the places i looked so far...

listed the Jade plant as non- toxic
http://www.sniksnak.com/plants.html
http://www.kvbc.com/Global/story.asp?S=2989145
http://groups.msn.com/ThePurfectCatC...mpyourcat.msnw
http://www.calpoison.org/public/plants.html
http://uk.geocities.com/lakelandcatc...om/catinfo.htm

listed the Jade plant as toxic
http://www.dr-dan.com/newpage16.htm
http://www.fix.net/~dogmag/bichon/poisonous.html
http://www.carefreegardens.net/plant...ous_to_pet.htm

some don't even list it at all in either toxic or non toxic like this..

HELP!

wow, theres a lot of info there
and to be honest it was confusing.
I didnt go too deep into each of those web-pages. So was thinking, have you been able to do a photo match up with your plant and with any from the sites you´ve already looked at ?
Or maybe you could post a photo of said plant
so we can all see it.
I would be interested cos I have what I call a jade plant in my garden, cats dont seem at all bothered with it, but well you do like to know about theses things !!
what do ya think ??

I have one of those two....Rambo used to love to pull it out of the pot so I brought it into work. He did nibble on it a bit with no side effects.....

I've kept Jades for decades and have had many chewed up with no bad results to the offender.
A lot of people in the proper climate (I saw them in NoCal) allow them to become the trees they actually are and plant them outside.
