The way to get good battery life is to get a camera with a Lithium Ion battery that comes with the camera. We have ordered three cameras this year from this dealer online and have been very happy with their service as well as their prices. This is the best one in the price range that you are wanting to pay.....but a little hint.....DON'T opt for any of the EXTRA deals that they will offer you when you order....just tell them....NO THANKS. Also another thing with this brand of camera.....when you have to buy a larger memory card it is the CHEAPEST one to purchase. We purchased my daughter and my Dad this exact model and they are VERY pleased with it....as I said....this is just my opinion but I do spend a lot of time looking and researching different models and makes of cameras. With shipping and all.....you should still be very close to the maximum amount that you want to spend.http://www.abesofmaine.com/viewprodu...CID=1#ProdDesc

The one I am buying is a canon, not a kodak. I currently have a canon camera (just a regular film camera) and I love it. That panasonic one looks nice, but it is way too expensive. $237 american plus tax and shipping is way more than I can afford. If it doesn't come with a lithium ion battery, I will just buy one. You can get 2 extra sets plus a charger for like $30. Its what I used to have for my old digital camera, but I gave them to my sister when I gave her my old camera.
I went back to the store to play around with it...well actually I went to Zellers where they are out and it seems nice. My boyfriend wants me to get the one that icklemiss21 suggested, but I don't like the shape of it. I don't plan on printing too many pictures, especially not very big.
Thanks for all the help.
