Well, probably next week.
We're working out the details...

But this is my baby who will be coming home. She's Eileen's rescue, and is staying with Eileen, who I just can't thank enough for taking in our next "fate" kitty.
She's been keeping me up to date with how cute she's being and sweet, and with lots and lots of pics.

So, I figure there's no people better to wait with than TCS! You all will understand my impatience in bringing Ginger HOME!!!

Here she is playing:

And being pretty:

And being cute and sleepy:

I just love the rings on her tail!

oh, Heidi, I'm envious
How can you stand not being able to hold her - she is sooo cute, the pics just show her character. Those are some of the most beautiful and unusual markings that I've ever seen on a cat!! Some artist angel must have painted her
The stripes in her blocks of color are sooo striking!! Ginger should be on TV

There's that sweet and pretty girl!
I can't thank Heidi and Earl enough for giving little Ginger a home.

She's a cutie! Um, have Trent and Ophelia been told about their new sister, yet?

New house, new kitty.....sounds like a great future!
Congrats to Heidi, Earl and Eileen for rescuing this beauty and finding her a new home!

Can't wait to see how Trent and Ophelia adapt to their new sister.

Aww sweet kitty, I LOVE calicos. My first cat was a calico named Honey.
Yours has this dusty look and I love those rings!

Good luck with her!

Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments on Ginger! We're pretty sure we're going to keep her name, since she's used to it and knows it. Unless, of course, she tells us that she wants a different name.

Looks like next Thursday is going to be the BIG DAY!!!

Well, I've told them, but I'm not sure how much they understand it. I've told Trent that he's getting a new little sister that he can romp with, and he seems pretty happy about that idea. Ophelia doesn't romp - she just hisses at him.
Ophelia doesn't seem too keen on it if that means competition for her Daddy.

That's the part I'm nervous about, like I said in yesterday's DT. Luckily, from everything that Eileen has said, Ginger seems to be a playful, friendly little girl to both people and other cats. She's not dominant at this point, which is good since we already have Alpha contentions. So hopefully, if we do it by the book, intros will go smoothly.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
You're adopting her! She is SO ADORABLE! I have to agree - those rings on her tail are so striking. Ophelia and Trent are in for another big surprise, lol!
