hello all quick question baout my cat

i dunno how he does it but when my cat start to play with me or his toys he start to snort lol i dunno y but he snort when he plays is that normal or should i go check it out he been snorting a while now it not like he just started snorting but that what he does and while he eats his wet food he snorts as well like he lost of breath or just happy to eat his food and play

Snorting, or purring? Sounds to me like he's just purring - that's okay, it probably means he's happy!

If its the cat in your signature it may have something to do with his shortened face and nasal passages. Maybe someone with a persian cat who has experienced this will be along shortly. If not, you can peruse the site and PM someone with such a cat and see if this is normal? I just have a regular domestic short hair myself.
