As some of you know, I have a post in the SOS section about the KY kitty's from a shelter that need a home..
I am getting anywhere from 12-20 this weekend. The older ones should be to their forever homes shortly after getting them.
I will keep the younger until they are ready to go.
Here is my question, the shelter gets Science diet food in bulk, whether its donated or not, I have no clue..
But they have been feeding that, I really dont like it , she is sending a bag of it, so I will have time to make a gradual change..

This is my main concern, I will have kittens mostly, with a few adults..
I will have several to feed though..I want a good quality with a nice price..
Any suggestions?

Max cat and Chicken soup depending on area are usually reasonable about 20 $ for about 20 lbs ... If you cheaper than that but chemical preservative and by product free Sportmix is about 14 $ for a 35 lb bag( contains corn wheat and soy)

I would like to add HealthWise by Natura as a a good food with a good price. It costs about the same as the Chicken Soup and I think would be especially good for rescues, particularly kittens, needing good sound nutrition. If it's not available in your area, it can be found at PetFoodDirec.com.

I've tried it and my cats liked it quite well, but I have a couple overweight cats that I feel would only gain more with it.
