We had to put our beloved Oliver to sleep this morning. He was in excruciating pain from a blockage and both the vet and I felt that the most merciful thing to do was to let him go over the Rainbow Bridge and meet up with all of the playmate that had gone before him.

Right now he's playing with Tiger the kitty, Ebony the Hamster, Slinky the gerbil and Max the parrot.

Rest in peace, my sweet baby, you will always be in our hearts and one day, we'll be together again, I'm sure and we'll cross the Rainbow Bridge never to be separated again.

Love forever,
Your Mommy

Oliver

I'm so sorry for your loss. Take comfort that Oliver isn't suffering any longer and that you showed him the last greatest act of love and compassion that you could. Rest in peace, Oliver.

Bless his little heart
He's not suffering anymore now. Instead he's playing with all the other TCS kittens over at the bridge while the older kitties are mothering them

I'm soooo sorry to hear about losing Oliver. I'm sure he'll always have a special place in your heart.

He's probably having so much fun up there right now. He's got lots of wonderful friends up on the rainbow bridge.

Here's a picture of my baby at the vet's office. This was during our "goodbye" time so I took a few pictures with my camera phone.

I keep second guessing myself but I know as the time goes by, I won't forget him but he'll always be in my heart. I think this is the hardest on the kids right now.

Surprise of all surprises though, Sunday morning after a REALLY roungh night, my wonderful husband comes home from an "errand" and hands me this little tiny ball of black fur. Nothing will ever replace Oliver, but this little tiny kitty needs me and he's doing a darn good job of making me smile even when I really don't want to.

Here he is...
Meet Mallory, 7 week old male cutie....

Thank you all, again for helping my family through this time... You've all been invaluable, I'm so glad I found this site!

Love and blessings,
Steph

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost a kitty to a blockage a few years ago and it just broke my heart. On a lighter note....what a cutie Mallory is!! He kinda looks like he knows it too.
