If I open a can of tuna I'll give my guys a small forkful. It's fine as a treat but shouldnt be fed as a meal because it doesnt have the nutritional value cats need.

The tuna should be the one packed in water rather than oil as well. Don't give very much - also check the salt content on the can. Salt isn't a good thing!

I agree, it's ok as a snack, but you shouldn't throw down a can for your cats to feast on.... Oliver goes CRAZY when I open tuna, like literally crazy, there is ABSOLUTELY NO way of getting out of giving him the tuna juice (ie: the water the tuna's packed in that you drain out)... he doesn't care much at all for the meat itself, but inhales the juice

Mine go nuts over tuna, too, but they only get a very little bit. (Partly because I want it allllll for myself!
) For some reason, though, Oz is often sick after eating even a small amount of tuna -- and he doesn't have a sensitive stomach. I've been having tuna salad sandwiches at least once a week for a few weeks now, and my guys get a small piece (about 1 tsp) every time I open a new can. This amount seems to agree best with Ozzie's stomach; anything more and it just comes back up again.
